  • Emory Police Department received a phone call on Feb. 22 from a complainant who stated that the van belonging to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta was consistently driving in excess of 70 mph along the route between Children’s Healthcare and the Ronald McDonald House.
  • EPD received a report on Feb. 22 at 10:16 p.m. from someone who smelled the odor of marijuana around the ninth floor of the Clairmont Tower. The Division of Campus Life was notified, and a Campus Life official met EPD officers at the location. The Campus Life official decided that she would enter the room in question due to the safety hazard. She confiscated a marijuana pipe from the room.
  • EPD received a report from a 68-year-old visitor to the University on Feb. 23. The male visitor reported that he parked his blue four-door Hyundai at the Peavine Parking Deck at 7:15 a.m. and that when he returned at 4 p.m., the rear bumper had been damaged.
  • A resident of the Spanish House contacted EPD on Feb. 23 at 12:50 p.m. and said that someone had eaten a small portion of cereal in a clear container kept on a shelf in the house and this had been going on throughout the semester. EDP turned the information over to the Area Director of the house for follow-up.
  • Someone called EPD to report a roommate dispute at Turman South on Feb. 23 between 7:52 and 8:16 p.m. EPD met with one of the roommates, 19, who stated that she had been threatened with bodily injury by her roommate, whom officers did not make contact with at that time. The resident adviser was contacted and notified of the situation. EPD officers talked with the R.A. and were able to leave the situation in his hands.
  • A 19-year-old female student reported her iPod stolen from the Burlington Road Building on Feb. 24 sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. The student said she left her iPod in the practice room and went to class on the same floor. The iPod was missing when she went to get it after class. The iPod has a Phoenix Sun sticker on its face and the student’s name engraved on it.
