  • Emory Police Department (EPD) officers issued three citations on Sept. 3 between 8:10 and 8:39 a.m. Three different vehicles disregarded the traffic control device at the intersection near the former Dental School Building and ran the red light at the location.
  • DeKalb County Fire Department and EPD responded to the third floor of the Clairmont Residential Center on Sept. 4 at 4:09 p.m. A sprinkler broke at the location, flooding the hallway in that area. Facilities Management checked the apartments in the area but there was no damage. The Division of Campus Life was notified.
  • A male subject and resident of the area near Candler Field called EPD on Sept. 4 at 2:30 p.m. to report that he was harassed while walking his dog in the area near the lower fields. The victim stated that a 35- to 45-year-old male subject was riding his bicycle and began taunting the victim and said: “I’m gonna get you and your dog.” The subject then rode off in the area toward Sage Hill Shopping Center. EPD arrived at the location but could not locate the subject. The victim described the subject as a blond, 6-foot-2 male who weighed approximately 210 pounds.
  • On Sept. 5 at 2:01 a.m., a Nored security guard observed male subjects riding in a golf cart on Starvine Bridge. The golf cart was later located at Clairmont Tower Apartments but no one was in the cart at that time.
  • On Sept. 5 at 11:30 a.m., EPD responded to the Zeta Beta Tau house. The house director met with EPD officers and told them that someone had thrown cement into a vehicle next to hers in the parking lot. Her car was not damaged but some debris did get on it; however, the Hyundai next to hers sustained damages. The owner of the damaged vehicle, a 19-year-old male subject, told officers that he had entered the house recently and did not know why his vehicle was damaged. The Division of Campus Life and a detective were notified.
