  • A female student reported that she lost her ring in the Dental School Building on March 27 sometime after 11 a.m. She stated that she took off the ring because her hand began to swell and accidentally left the ring at the location. The ring is white gold with a diamond and engraved curved pattern and is valued at $600. Her wedding date is engraved inside the ring as well.
  • Emory Police Department received a noise complaint that loud music was coming from the front porch of 14 Eagle Row on April 3 at 11:45 p.m. EPD officers spoke with residents at the location and they turned the music down.
  • EPD received a noise complaint on April 4 at 2:10 a.m. in reference to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event going on at the Woodruff P.E. Center, EPD contacted the student coordinator at the location and they turned off the loud music.
  • An Emory University Hospital employee contacted EPD on April 4 to report that she has been receiving phone calls from her 36-year-old estranged husband since Dec. 29. The employee further stated that recent phone calls have led her to become concerned for her safety. The victim’s husband reportedly told her that he would continue calling her to have her dismissed from her job. The incident is under active investigation at this time.
  • EPD received a noise complaint on April 5 at 1:03 a.m. that houses on Eagle Row were in violation of the city noise ordinance. EPD officers responded to a party going on at 18 Eagle Row and asked subjects at the location to turn down the music. The subjects complied at that time. Another officers responded to 14 Eagle Row and asked them to turnd down their music as well and the subjects complied.
  • On April 5 at 2:34 a.m., an EPD officer at the Dooley’s Depot parking lot identified two female students carrying open cans of beer. One of the female students needed medical attention and Emory Emergency Medical Services was contacted. Residence Life personnel was contacted and arrived at the location. They escorted the female student to her residence hall for her own safety.
  • EPD officers responded to the courtyard between Complex and Harris Hall on April 6 at 12:30 a.m. and found people smoking. Officers could not detect the odor of marijuana but met with the students at the location. Two females, 18 and 19, and two males, 18 and 19, were allowed to leave the location.
